Trunk Show & Fashion Soiree DRIPPED: The Movement
The producers of “Dripped Fashion Soiree and Trunk Show” present their first short documentary on the “Dripped Movement.”
“We wanted to put together a short that encompasses our direction for 2012; Dripped is not only a fashion party or trunk show, it’s a progressive movement about facilitating a platform to support creative taste makers in Los Angeles through fashion, independent design, and art. A movement that encourages a sense of community in a cut throat industry, and in a city such as Los Angeles seen as the underdog in global fashion. We are responsible as artists to create what is lacking and feel that Los Angeles needs a platform to network, build, sustain, and showcase each others talent.” says curator, Geisha.
The short displays Dripped’s growth from it’s first event in May 2011 to the last Holiday Edition held on Dec. 16th 2011 showcasing it’s first performance art dance piece by WIFE, and runway designers Kittinhawk, Debakalis, See You Monday and Gypsy Junkies.
